The aim of the work is to develop a modified method of non-rigid tolerance for solving problems of optimal design of mechanical systems with variable characteristics with a precisely controlled calculation of the constraint function. Research methods - mathematical methods of process analysis, artificial neural networks (ARN), integer genetic algorithm compatible with the method of sliding tolerance, finite element method (MSE). The problematic aspects in modeling the process of corrosion deformation of SHSK, in particular the accuracy of numerical analysis; the conceptual model of solving the problems of determining the optimal parameters of hinged-rod structures by the criterion of metal content, taking into account the physico-chemical processes in them; the model of corrosion deformation of SHSK is investigated; he architecture of the neural network is substantiated; developed a method of non-rigid tolerance for solving problems of optimal design of mechanical systems with accuracy-controlled calculation of the constraint function; solved the problem of discrete optimization of corroding SSCs with constraints using genetic algorithms and the method of sliding tolerance using the developed method of non-rigid tolerance to solve problems of optimal design of mechanical systems with precisely controlled function calculation.
