The existing methods of the thermal non-destructive defectoscopy have not studied the filament for 3D printing, which is made of the main production plastic waste. The aim of the work is to develop models and methods of defectoscopy of plastic filament for 3D-printing, which can be useful for quality control and improvement of technological processes in the design of equipment for transformation plastic waste into filament for 3D-printing. To achieve this goal the following problems are solved: developed a universal physical and mathematical model of infrared non-destructive defectoscopy of 3D printing filament based on non-stationary heat transfer problems solutions, there was determined reaction on the thermal fields influence for the controlled material in a multilayer three-dimensional spatial region with sub region of arbitrary form, that imitate defects that accounting on real manufacturing condition during testing, testing object state and testing equipment. The proposed testing method takes into account the nature of processes in the studied material under the influence of arbitrarily changing thermal fields, the study of the law of the temperature influence in the chamber, the rate of supply of plastic waste through special equipment, the percentage of impurities and coloring components on the filament quality.
