The purpose of the work is to develop and substantiate theoretical and methodological approaches and practical principles of creating an effective system of functioning and management of enterprise development in line with the implementation of modern economic strategy of Ukraine and integration into the world economic community. Research methods are analysis and synthesis, abstract-logical, economic-statistical method, economic-mathematical, monographic, balance method, tabular and graphical. The focus is on the problems of research of effective development and management of economic activity of enterprises in terms of integration into the world economic community, analysis of enterprises in the region and the quality of their management on the example of research entities, taking into account all external and internal factors influencing their development. A thorough analysis of the features and trends of enterprises in the region and the corresponding construction of effective management systems, which is reflected in the evolution of scientific views. Theoretical concepts and practical experience of domestic and foreign scientists to the approaches to determining the nature and structure of enterprise management in market conditions are generalized; formulated methodological provisions and developed scientific and methodological recommendations for assessing the level of formation of the management system of economic activity at enterprises in the region. The principles of functioning of the state support institutional system of enterprises economic activity of the region are revealed; the practical approbation of the offered scientific and methodical approaches for definition of a level of their efficiency is carried out.
