The relevance of research work (R&D) is to obtain new methods of creating and studying nanosized films on the electrodes of lithium-ion batteries obtained by magnetron sputtering of carbon and silicon, which can improve the performance of batteries. The paper analyzes the existing methods of obtaining electrodes of lithium-ion batteries. Features of structure of electrodes of accumulator batteries are defined. A method for the formation of nanosized films on the electrodes of lithium-ion batteries by the magnetron method has been developed. The aim of the scientific work is to study the features of nanosized films on the electrodes of lithium-ion batteries obtained by magnetron sputtering of carbon and silicon. The analysis of physical properties and characteristics of the obtained samples is performed in the work. A scientific novelty is the production of nanosized films on the electrodes of lithium-ion batteries formed by magnetron sputtering to reduce the size and improve performance. Recommendations for the use of work results - it is recommended to continue this work in the direction of additional doping with materials that stabilize the characteristics.
