The urgency of research work is due, first of all, to the need to create information support for state environmental monitoring of the seas of Ukraine within the creation and implementation of the Marine Strategy of Ukraine. The main objectives of the research are to improve the environmental information provision of marine nature, taking into account the requirements of the EU Marine Strategy Framework Directive (2008/56 / EU), including hardware and software, database development and interactive geo-information systems. The object of research is information support of ecological monitoring of the state of the Black Sea marine environment within the framework of the Marine Strategy of Ukraine in accordance with the requirements of Marine Strategy Framework Directive 2008/56/EU.
