 Subject of research: there are theoretical and legal aspects of the interaction of civil society and the rule of law in the context of the latest Ukrainian experience. Object of research: social relations that are formed in the process of formation and interaction of civil society and the rule of law. The purpose of the research is theoretical and legal analysis of ways of forming civil society in Ukraine and development of practical recommendations for improving public policy in this direction and effective innovative forms of interaction between civil society and the modern Ukrainian state. The main tasks of R&D: to carry out a complex (systematic) substantiation of methodological approaches to defining the concept and features of civil society in modern conditions; identify a system of factors and components that ensure the formation of civil society; to reveal the theoretical and legal aspects of the participation of civil society in the development of the rule of law; to study the influence of the principles of the rule of law on the formation of civil society in Ukraine; to substantiate the limits of state regulation of social processes and forms of civil society control over the state; to study the theoretical and legal aspects of formation in Ukraine political parties and public organizations and their role in the formation of civil society; to characterize modern national legal institutions that can promote or inhibit the formation of civil society; to ensure the implementation of legal education activities that promote the formation of civil society; develop proposals for the introduction of the latest state and legal institutions necessary to ensure the development of civil society in Ukraine and increase public participation in the socio-political life of the country.
