The aim of the work is to study and analyze the historical aspects and theoretical foundations of the European integration vector of Ukraine, as well as to study the problems associated with the implementation of the European integration course of the state. The relevance of the study is determined by the fact that European integration for Ukraine is a further political and institutional rapprochement with the EU and an evolutionary advance to the ultimate goal of integration into the European Union. Therefore, it is important to adapt Ukrainian legislation, economy, regional, social and language policy to EU and Council of Europe norms as key integration elements, as well as to deepen Ukraine's relations with NATO as one of the main components of a comprehensive European stability and security system. Рresents the results of the third stage of research, namely: the European experience of regional policy and its implementation in Ukraine; the economic integration of independent Ukraine into the European economic space is analyzed; the views of various political parties of Ukraine on the European integration dimension of the state are considered; the problem of the European vector of foreign policy of Hetman Ivan Mazepa at the beginning of the XVIII century is investigated; the problem of language in the conditions of modern Ukraine in the context of European integration processes is raised; the analysis of problems and prospects of charitable organizations in Ukraine as a component of social policy of the state is presented.
