The purpose is to systematize the design and technological features of forging and pressing equipment, generalization of methods of reliability of columns of column type, construction of the main shaft of press equipment, research of ways to increase the reliability and rigidity of columns of column type hydraulic presses. Research methods - identification on the basis of the analysis of existing designs of presses of the main factors influencing efficiency of work of the forging and pressing equipment. Theoretical results - methods of research of parameters of work of the forging and pressing equipment for reception of details of responsible appointment. Practical results - a set of recommendations that improve the technological process of obtaining parts for responsible purposes.
