Purpose of work: development of technology and installation to reduce energy consumption for the implementation of processes of grinding grain raw materials using well-known equipment - hammer mills. Research methods and equipment: the research was carried out using data on the known equipment for grinding and mixing and the method of comparing its schemes according to the main criteria (provided by the productivity and energy intensity of the process). Dependencies for determining the main design and operating parameters of the proposed equipment were obtained using the equations of mechanics and hydraulics, the theory of differential equations. Theoretical and practical results: the analysis of the known equipment for grinding and grinding grain raw materials was carried out and, taking into account its advantages and disadvantages, the directions for further improvement of the equipment were determined. The technology and scheme of the plant for sequential grinding of grain raw materials in several hammer mills with a gradual increase in the degree of grinding of grain raw materials are proposed. The high efficiency of the proposed installation in terms of productivity and energy consumption is substantiated on the basis of calculations. The analysis of the known equipment for mixing dry and wet dispersed materials has been carried out. Taking into account their advantages and disadvantages, schemes of improved equipment for mixing dry and wet dispersed materials have been proposed, which can be created on the basis of known mixing machines by equipping them with serial electromagnetic vibration exciters of the required power, ensuring an increase in the productivity of the working process and a decrease in its energy consumption.
