Based on the results of the work performed, the results of studies of the main exogenous geological processes, namely landslide, mudflow, karst in natural conditions, as well as in the areas of influence of mining enterprises in the salt deposits of the Carpathian region and built-up areas, are presented. The scientific data obtained were considered as a contribution to solving the general problem of predicting the risks of emergency situations. In particular, an assessment of the development of karst processes within the Solotvinsky rock salt deposit is given; the methodology for assessing the forecast risks of the development of karst processes based on spatio-temporal geoinformation models; presents a methodology for creating models of landscape hydrogeological complexes as a basis for developing recommendations for optimizing a hydrological monitoring network, as well as creating an analytical GIS of a hydrogeological regime for the territory of Ukraine; the results of mudflow hazard modeling are given taking into account the spatial and temporal factors for the territory within the basin of the river.
