The subject of the research is the technology of evaluation of scientific activity of free economic zones, their structural subdivisions (faculties, departments, etc.), as well as individual scientists and project groups to which they belong, technologies of data collection, analysis and visualization. In order to modernize the social development of Ukraine, in particular in the fields of science and innovation, the well-known scientific developments in the evaluation of research performance of scientists are analyzed. For a comprehensive evaluation of research activities of scientists, a method of vector evaluation of results was proposed. The basis of this method is the construction of vectors from scalar estimates in a multidimensional metric space. A probabilistic thematic model has been built, which allows clustering of publications of scientists in scientific fields, taking into account the citation network, which is an important step to solve the problem of identification of subject scientific spaces. As a result of building the model, the problem of increasing instability of clustering of the citation graph due to the decrease in the number of clusters is solved. The task of selecting potential partners for cooperation in research and educational projects is formulated. A method of selecting project executors has been developed, the essence of which is to use a fuzzy inference to reconcile the opinions of experts on the necessary requirements for candidates.
