The aim of the work is to use the potential of highly adaptive genotypes of sugar sorghum as a basis for the production of liquid biofuels and to improve the technology of biobutanol production with the help of a new producer strain for fermentation of second generation phyto raw materials. The object of research is the process of creation and use of new high-yielding genotypes of sugar sorghum as a basis for obtaining liquid biofuels from second-generation raw materials and improvement of producer strains and technology for biobutanol production. The subject of research is highly adaptive forms and varieties of sugar sorghum (Sorghum saccharatum (L.) Moench) of own selection and new strains-producers and technology of biobutanol production. General scientific and special research methods were used in the research. New genotypes (about 43) of sugar sorghum as phyto raw materials of the second generation for the production of liquid biofuels (butanol) were involved (143), derived and evaluated according to a set of biological-technological and productive parameters. Introduction and selection-genetic work on formation of important productive indicators in selected genotypes is carried out. The technological properties of phyto raw materials for the production of liquid biofuels have been studied. Work has been carried out to optimize the conditions for cultivating producer strains for fermentation of sugar sorghum phyto raw materials. Improved butanol-producing strains.
