The research objective is to increase the efficiency of analysis and diagnostics of objects of various nature through the development of methods and information technology for a comprehensive assessment of the wavelet transform parameters. When solving the set tasks, the following methods has been developed: a method for optimal decomposition of a complex signal; the method for constructing the wavelet frequency characteristic and the method for determining the effective wavelet basis when using the wavelet transform apparatus have been improved; the method of analyzing profilograms of metal surfaces processed by milling was further developed. Research results are recommended for use by enterprises and companies in the process of spectral analysis of non-stationary signals in order to improve the quality of analysis and diagnostics of objects of various nature, by introducing methods, models and information technologies in the process of managing complex objects and systems.
