The diffusion of reagents in the catalyst grain was studied and the influence of the composition and porous structure of the catalyst on the diffusion regime was established. Regularities of anomalous diffusion of reagents and products of dehydration reaction of alcohols to hydrocarbons and ethers in grain of nanostructured catalysts, which are characterized by different composition and different porous structure, are revealed. It is established that the regime of anomalous mass transfer is realized under the condition that the kinetic size of the diffuse molecule is smaller than the micropore size of the porous nanostructured material, and the adsorption energy of the diffuse on the catalyst surface exceeds 90 kJ / mol. A new nanostructured granular catalyst for dehydration of alcohols to hydrocarbons has been developed, which is characterized by higher productivity and longer operating time without the need for regeneration compared to existing analogues. The increase in the productivity and duration of the catalyst was achieved due to the implementation of anomalous diffusion of reagents and reaction products in the grain of the catalyst, which provides accelerated transport compared to conventional diffusion.
