The paper analyzes domestic and foreign regulations (Slovakia, Austria, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Germany, Romania, Russia, Poland, Croatia) in terms of fire safety requirements for the installation of external facade insulation based on the criteria of conditional height house, class of reaction to fire, the need for fire barriers (belts), the thickness of the layer of facade insulation.
