The object of research is the introductory and sozophytic fraction of the dendroflora of the park and its separate landscape areas. The purpose of the work is the maximum preservation of the plant gene pool and the original decorative and artistic merits of the park and the identification of species promising for use in various sectors of the economic complex of the state. The task of research is to conduct inventory research, analysis of quantitative and qualitative changes in the structure of park plantations that occurred during 2016-2020; ecological and geographical analysis of the introductory and sozophytic fraction of park dendroflora; assessment of the success of the introduction of woody plants in the park based on the study of their viability in terms of generative development, winter hardiness and drought resistance; Research method. Research in the arboretum "Trostyanets" was conducted by using direct and indirect methods common in dendrology, phytocenology and geobotany, as well as by processing archival documents of the arboretum and materials of botanical inventories throughout the existence of the park. The expediency and necessity of research in this direction is caused by more than 180 years of the park, during which there were changes due to the dynamics of the components of landscape architecture: forms and structures of composite park elements, volumes of park structures due to intensive natural restoration of unwanted trees and shrubs and the elimination of a few exotic species and forms and hardy rocks. All this leads to significant changes in park landscapes and the emergence of disharmony of their artistic expression.
