The purpose of the study is to scientifically substantiate the effectiveness of the application of an innovative method of complex rapid assessment of the functional readiness of high-skill athletes to optimize the training process in the preparatory period of the annual macrocycle. Research methods - the following groups of methods were used to achieve this goal: theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical observation and pedagogical experiment, medical and biological research methods, methods of mathematical statistics. The high efficiency of the developed innovative method of express estimation of the current level of functional state and functional readiness of the organism, which allows to significantly reduce the time of examination and significantly increase the objectivity of the results of conducting both individual and mass and nosological examinations, has been experimentally proved. The algorithm of application of the developed methodological approach for express estimation of the current state of persons of different age, gender and physical fitness is substantiated, which provides an opportunity for the development of the most optimal programs of prevention, recovery and rehabilitation. The results of research and development were implemented in publications - 11 (including 2 in the Web of Sciences metric database), patents - 3, tutorials - 1, methodological recommendations - 1 performers, diploma - 17 and coursework - 28, special courses "Olympic and professional sports »,« Theory and methodology of the selected sport »,« Functional diagnostics »,« Diagnosis and monitoring of health status ».
