The subject of the study is the social and humanitarian advantages of law enforcement activity in the context of reform processes in Ukraine. The main purpose of the study is to develop and provide specific theoretical and practical recommendations to law enforcement officers to address issues related to the functioning of social and humanitarian priorities. The purpose and objectives of the study were realized through the integrated application of general scientific and special research methods. The formal-logical method was used to clarify the place of social and humanitarian priorities in law enforcement, and its links with the phenomena and processes of philosophical, legal, political and cultural content. The method of analysis was used at the stage of studying various approaches to the study of the phenomenon of priorities and content of the categories of freedom, equality, justice, tolerance. The synthesis was used at the stage of formulating conclusions and during a comprehensive study of socio-humanitarian priorities. Induction to determine the general current trends in the law enforcement function of the state, namely the desire of law enforcement agencies to gain support among the population and outsource to civil society institutions. Comparative-historical method for the reconstruction of the historical development of the axiological content of legal and law enforcement spheres. System-historical - to study the reform of the law enforcement function of the Ukrainian state in modern times.
