The accumulated experience of physical practice and its experimental application in competitive sports activities and the effective methods of physical education developed in this field of knowledge currently require socio-humanitarian reflection. Humanitarian discourses of sport should show the importance of philosophical, historical, sociological tools in the further development of the theory of physical culture and sports, updating its terminological arsenal and using the worldview of modern culture to increase the authority of athletes and other physical education professionals as creative individuals who care about health. I population to involve him in regular recreational and health programs. Object of research: Sports activity as a separate and specific sphere of public life. Subject of research: Sport as a socio-cultural phenomenon. Research methods: study, analysis, generalization and systematization of data of scientific and scientific-methodical literature. The scientific novelty of this stage of research is to prove that: a) analysis of the philosophical discourse of the scientific paradigm of sport gives reason to believe that currently the necessary conditions for the formation of a new field of knowledge - "philosophy of sport", which would explore the essence of sport, its place and its role in the modern post-industrial world from the point of view of its humanistic cultural value; b) the development of a coherent and consistent concept of a healthy lifestyle is possible only if the narrow specialization in various humanities research is overcome; c) the analysis of the historical discourse of the scientific paradigm of sport shows that on the Ukrainian territory sports practices have most fully manifested themselves since the beginning of the XIX century; d) the subject of philosophy of sport as an interdisciplinary field of knowledge is substantiated Product Description popup.authors Kozma Vasyl V.
