It has been shown that annealing at Т=800°C for 4 hours allows one to keep out high dispersity of nanopowders and achieve reasonable removal of carbonate impurities. 108 g of Y2O3 powder precursors have been synthesized in the optimized conditions. This amount is enough for fabrication of infrared missile dome prototypes by the slip casting method (3 pcs., 50 mm in diameter, 3 mm in thickness). The optimal annealing schedule of Y2O3–MgO powder precursor obtained by the high-temperature self-propagating synthesis. It has been determined that annealing at T=600°С for 2 hours leads to fragmentation of primary mesh-like structure and formation of 40 nm Y2O3, MgO isolated nanocrystals. 50 g of Y2O3–MgO powder precursors have been synthesized in the optimized conditions. This amount is enough for fabrication of infrared missile dome prototypes by the slip casting method (2 pcs., 50 mm in diameter, 3 mm in thickness).   Product Description popup.authors Balabanov Anton E.
