Purpose – to define platform and its general parameters to create the fire-and-rescue ship. The results of scientific-research work must to become the basis for future tactical and technical task for creating of the classification project. Under the performance of scientific-research work the up to date fire-and-rescue ships were observed; the operational and tactical tasks of fire-and-rescue ship are determined; required equipment and machinery are specified; explanatory note, general arrangement drawing, hull line drawing, and mid-ship frame drawing are developed; approximate price and terms of ship creating were estimated.
