Mineral waters (MW) of St. № 5М смт. Sergiyivka contain viable microorganisms of various ecological and physiological groups, which are characteristic of natural mineral waters: butyric acid, methane-forming, ammonifying, thione, and others. Detected microorganisms can be producers of biologically active substances (proteases, amino acids, fatty acids, vitamins, antibiotics, etc.) and are not pathogenic to humans. Well water № 5M has a significant bactericidal effect against Escherichia coli. Experimental studies on laboratory animals in the course of internal use confirmed the biological activity and safety of mineral waters, established the corrective effect of water in experimental gastritis and impaired glucose tolerance, which justified the clinical trials.
