It has been experimentally shown that the irradiation of LnVO4: Eu3 + NPs with UV light causes reversible photobleaching Eu3 + luminescence due to photoreduction of Eu3 + ions to Eu2 +. For the first time, the dependence of this effect on the NPs size has been clarified. It has been found that reducing the size of CeO2-x NPs or using the reducing medium leads to a an increase in the intensity of the luminescence band associated with Ce3 + ions, which can be used to control the nonstoichiometry of CeO2-x NPs and their redox properties. It has been found out that the luminescent properties of the synthesized TiO2 NPs are governed by the presence of Ti3+ ions in the crystal lattice.
