Research object is the synthesis of ceramic matrices and selective layer and their physicochemical properties; modification of membranes by photocatalytic and antibacterial agents. Research methodology is experimental, which includes the use of own approaches to the synthesis of ceramic membranes and modern physicochemical methods of analysis for a comprehensive study of MF / UF / NF membranes. Results and novelty: For the first time a method of modification of ceramic membrane matrices by hydrothermal method of synthesis was developed. It is shown that the use of such modifying agents as Ag, ZnO, rare earth elements and SnO2 can significantly improve the photocatalytic and antibacterial properties of the selective layers of ceramic matrices. Methods of synthesis of ceramic matrices and research of their photocatalytic and antibacterial properties are improved. Methods for studying the mechanical and transport properties of membranes were further developed. Description of the final product - within the project it is planned to obtain low-cost ceramic membranes with multifunctional properties and controlled design. These developments are intended for production of domestic mobile installations on the basis of MF / UF / NF membranes.
