The executed researches of functioning of railway industrial transport are based on procedure of analysis of the collected statistical data of railway transportations and mathematical statistics. The offered model of determination of measure is on the increase of efficiency of work of railway transport of metallurgical combine. The executed analysis of scientific and normative works for ефективністі works of railway transport on industrial enterprises showed that this question is lighted up by incomplete and requires more detailed working. Work of railway workshop of metallurgical enterprise is considered, namely, the turn of freight carriages of different proprietors and time of their being are certain on plant tracks. The analysis of statistical data, that showed that divergence of time between a norm, that is set on an enterprise and by actual time of stay of freight carriage on a combine, had large running approach, is done.
