The aim is to carry out spectrophotometric and polarimetric observations of selected asteroids, which can be iron-rich in their composition, and to simulate the orbital and rotational evolution of asteroids. Research methods include spectrophotometric and polarimetric telescopic observations, numerical modeling, analytical calculations, comparative analysis of the obtained data. We obtained new observational data on the phase dependences of brightness in the visible wavelengths for 6 M-type asteroids and new high- precision lightcurves for 4 asteroids which are candidates for binary systems. The opposition effect of the brightness of the M-type asteroid (382) Dodona was measured for the first time. It was shown that the amplitude of the opposition effect is smaller compared to the typical one for moderate albedo asteroids, which argues in favor of the iron-rich surface composition of this asteroid. New observational data on polarimetric properties were obtained for 11 M-type asteroids, which increased the number of M-asteroids with known polarimetric properties by a third. Ten new asteroid pairs were discovered among small asteroids in the inner part of the main asteroid belt. We improved searching algorithm for asteroid pairs based on gravitational and non-gravitational forces; an analytical model for describing the evolution of the rotational state of asteroids under the influence of the YORP effect, which takes into account the thermophysical properties of their surfaces.
