The purpose of the project is to form scientific and theoretical foundations and develop practical recommendations for the effectiveness of management of health care facilities, as well as to identify ways to improve the management of the health care system of Ukraine during the medical reform. Research methods - analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, abstraction, generalization, statistical analysis, factor analysis, logical analysis, economic and mathematical. The results of the study and their scientific novelty: improved theoretical and methodological foundations of management of health care institutions in the context of medical reform in Ukraine, namely: the essence of the concept and levels of health care in Ukraine, characterized the essence of the management mechanism of health care facilities I, as well as the features of the management of health care institutions and determined the effectiveness of their management. The analysis of ensuring the effectiveness of management of health care facilities in the context of medical reform in Ukraine (on the example of Ivano-Frankivsk), in particular the analysis of trends in health care in the context of medical reform (on the example of Ivano-Frankivsk), analysis of trends in health care reforms in Ukraine. A SWOT-analysis of the health care system of Ivano-Frankivsk region and an analysis of the management activities of the heads of health care institutions were conducted. The directions of improvement of processes of management of establishments of system of public health services in the conditions of medical reform in Ukraine, in particular the directions of reforming of administrative work of managers of establishments of public health services are defined.
