Purpose to determine socio-legal and criminological negative consequences for Ukraine and Ukrainian society of the spread of various pandemics and epidemics. The project is the first in Ukraine comprehensive research to determine the impact on Ukrainian society the consequences of the COVID-19 in various areas of pandemic and to model stabilization measures to neutralize them during quarantine and post-pandemic periods. The study is based on the results of generalization of expert assessments and opinions of citizens. This allowed: to prove that retrospective analysis of the combating epidemics/pandemics is the theoretical basis for a modern strategy to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and any other public health challenges; to develop concepts and classify the negative socio-legal and criminological consequences of epidemics/pandemics; to determine the correlation of epidemics/pandemics with indicators of criminal offenses; to assess the sanitary and epidemiological situation and its impact on the well-being of the population; to study the impact of quarantine measures on criminality in Ukraine; to establish objects of preventive action and the circle of subjects for elimination of consequences of epidemics/pandemics; systematically set out perspective directions for limiting the spread of various consequences of epidemics/pandemiсs in Ukraine;etc. Significance of the work dissemination of knowledge on protection against the negative consequences of pandemics; providing proposals to improve the efficiency of government agencies; introduction of the idea of implementation the practice of systematic monitoring of law and order in the country in a pandemic situation based on the correlation between quarantine restrictions and the nature of criminality and prompt response to the negative consequences of epidemics/pandemics; formation of "quarantine" consciousnes Product Description popup.authors Yevteyeva Daryna P Batyrhareieva Vladyslava S.
