Registration Date 20-09-2021 Organization Institute of Nuclear Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 A new limit on the half-life of 100Mo relative to 02 decay was set as T1/2 < 1.5 x 1024 yr with an array of enriched Li2100MoO4 scintillating bolometers. The limit corresponds to one of the strongest limits on the effective Majorana neutrino mass < (0.31 – 0.54) eV. Pulse-shape discrimination methods to discard pileup and spurious events in Li2100MoO4 cryogenic detectors based on principal component analysis approach were developed. Pulse-shape discrimination of surface events in a metal-coated Li2MoO4 bolometer was developed. The prospects of this approach for 0n2b decay of 100Mo and 130Te searches are promising. It is shown that low-temperature scintillation bolometric detectors with cubic-shaped Li2100MoO4 crystals have characteristics comparable to the characteristics of the detectors with cylindrical crystals. Utilization of cubic-shaped crystals, compared to the cylindrical crystals, are more appealing for the construction of tightly packed arrays in terms of the isotope of interest mass increase and background reduction in the projected CUPID experiment. Search for 2b processes in 184Os and 192Os was performed at a new level of sensitivity. Energy calibration campaign was completed and the low-background measurements with the 106CdWO4 scintillation detector in coincidence (anticoincidence) with two large volume CdWO4 scintillation counters are running. Monte Carlo simulations of the detector-system response to the 2b decay processes in 106Cd and background sources were performed. The experiment aiming at precise measurement of the half-life of 150Nd relative to the 2b decay to the first 0+ excited level of the daughter gives a preliminary half-life value T1/2=9.7x1019 yr. The experiment is in progress to reduce the statistical uncertainty. As a by-product result, a review of neutrinoless double-electron capture has been published.
