During the implementation of the scientific-and-research work: 1) a multivariate model of formation and provision of innovation and investment component in the system of economic security of entrepreneurial activities is developed; 2) the method of estimation of innovation-and-investment activities of machine-building enterprises is offered; 3) the scientific approach to diagnostics of a level of innovation-and-investment safety of business activities on the example of the machine-building enterprises is offered; 4) the mechanism of providing the innovation-and-investment component of the system of economic security of entrepreneurial activities is substantiated. The practical value of the results is that the theoretical provisions are focused on the formation and implementation of strategic directions to strengthen the innovation-and-investment component of economic security of business, and the developed scientific provisions are logically brought to the level of specific proposals suitable for implementation in practice.
