The object of the study are organoelement compounds, such as diaminocarbenes, amino(oxy) carbenes, aminocarbenes or other related compounds, which are in equilibrium with their carbene form due to 1,2-migration of the organoelement group. Purpose: To study the reactions of the obtained carbenes with functional benzenes. Find out how carbenes react with different major functional groups and their effect on the reactivity of carbenes to insert in the CH bond of benzene derivatives. Determine the orienting effect of functional groups and their combinations on the position at which they react with the benzene derivatives. Investigate the influence of various physical and chemical factors that affect the equilibrium processes. To study the stability of carbene at elevated temperatures, the effect of Lewis acids and bases on the equilibrium. Investigate the effect of microwave irradiation on the reaction rate of carbenes. Research methods - organic synthesis, elemental analysis, spectral methods (IR, NMR spectroscopy, mass and chromato-mass spectrometry), microwave irradiation, X-ray diffraction analysis. Equipment - Varian – VXR – 300 (299.9 MHz for 1H and 121.4 MHz for 31P NMR), UR – 20 spectrometer, AMD – 604 mass spectrometer, laboratory thermometers (GOST 28498–90). Theoretical and practical studies have proposed trimethylsilyl-N,N,N'-trialkylformamidine as a compound with a low migration barrier of the silyl group. A convenient method of synthesis has been proposed, and it has been shown that it does exhibit the properties of carbene due to the migration of the silyl group from the carbon atom to the nitrogen atom. Thus, we obtained a new nucleophilic carbene. The reactivity of trimethylsilyl-N,N,N'-trialkylformamidine with respect to the main functional groups was studied on the example of monosubstituted benzenes. Thus, reactions with benzene, phenol, benzaldehyde, acetophenone, benzoic acid, benzoic acid chloride, ben Product Description popup.authors Gurieva Anastasiia Mykolayivna Kyrylchuk Andrii A.
