It is shown that one of the directions in the development of methods for monitoring the operability of the ACS can be the use of the method of parametric identification of the GPU to determine the parameters of the transfer function by its acceleration characteristic. An integrated approach to the development of diagnostic methods for gas compressor units with automatic control systems, as a unified system, will improve their reliability and efficiency of the process of gas transportation through main gas pipelines. The informative technological parameters of the GPU operation are analyzed, the change of which can characterize the appearance of surge, a description of the improved GPU diagnostics system is given, and the procedure for its use in the anti-surge protection mode of the GPU compressor type TS-16-S is considered. A laboratory setup has been developed to study the operation of turbidity sensors in river waters. The basis of the monitoring and control system of the laboratory installation is made up of hardware and software based on PLC Simatic S7-1200. The paper presents the results of the development, implementation and study of the operating modes of the system for collecting, processing and archiving technological parameters of chemical production based on the developed topology, SCADA and virtualization technologies.
