The purpose of the work is to determine the general theoretical problems of modern state and legal regulation of social relations, the functioning and development of the state and law. Research methods - studied modern state formation in Ukraine with the definition of the problem in the context of world change, in particular: law-making dimension of state-building - theoretical and methodological aspects of cognition, psychological principles of lawmaking, anthropologism and anthropocentrism in the vector of superstructure of social and legal institutions in social law. ensuring the overcoming of corruption in Ukraine, issues of implementation of court decisions in Ukraine, judicial reform in Ukraine as an important area of modern state formation, historical and legal aspects of civil proceedings; the doctrinal principles of modern law of criminal and criminal procedure legislation are determined, in particular, the ways of formation of criminal law policy in Ukraine. Based on the results of research work, a monograph "Modern state formation: legal transformation in the context of world change" was prepared and published. The obtained results can be put into the development of legal science and education, which integrates the educational process and scientific research, as well as used in practice for state and legal regulation of social relations and state formation.
