Registration Date 02-11-2021 Organization State Research Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine popup.description2 The relevance of studying the phenomenon of domestic violence is due to the growth of its level during quarantine measures during COVID-19 outbreaks. Long-term restrictive measures imposed in Ukraine have contributed to an increase in psychological stress in families and a deterioration in the material condition. There has been an increase in the number of victims of domestic violence seeking help from the National Police of Ukraine. As part of the study, an analysis of statistical data from the National Police of Ukraine was conducted, as well as an analysis of judicial practice in considering criminal offences under art. 126-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, "Domestic violence", from the Uniform State Register of Court Decisions. Considerable attention is paid to the study of the experience of various law enforcement agencies in preventing and combating domestic violence in the European Union and the United States. This experience, as well as the results of the study of the domestic legal framework and scientific and methodological sources in the field of prevention and counteraction to domestic violence formed the basis of the Methodological recommendations for police officers' actions when detecting offenses related to domestic violence, in particular in the context of the coronavirus pandemic Product Description popup.authors Lubenets Iryna Hryhorivna Otsel Valentyna Vasylivna Ryamzina Alina Yuriyivna Chabaiovskyi Taras Vasylovych Yarmysh Oleksandr Nazarovych popup.nrat_date 2021-11-02 Close
