Objectives – derivation of the photodetection formula for nanowire detectors considering the memory effect caused by both dead time and relaxation time; derivation of the positive operator-valued measure for Josephson photomultipliers; developing methods for the verification of nonclassical properties and nonclassical correlations in quantum electromagnetic radiation with nanowire detectors; obtaining time-dependent field correlation function of the fourth order for optical radiation in the turbulent atmosphere. Methods – combinatoric analysis of pulse statistics for nanowire detectors; methods of photon distribution function and phase screens for description of atmosphericquantum channels; dual forms of linear programming problems. Results: We have derived the photodetection formula for the method of continuous-wave detection with nanowire detectors considering the memory effect of previous time windows. We have derived the positive operator¬valued measure for Josephson photomultipliers. We have shown that nonclassicality of photocounting statistics for squeezed vacuum states can be tested with nanowire detectors. We have built a local realistic model for hybrid measurements (balanced–unbalanced homodyne detection) with two-mode squeezed vacuum states. We have obtained time-dependent field correlation function of the fourth order for optical radiation in the turbulent atmosphere.
