This standard sets out the general basic principles of gas infrastructure and is applicable to the requirements of EN 12007-1, in particular for gas infrastructure operating at pressures up to and including 16 bar. The national standard DSTU EN 12279 (EN 12279: 2000 + A1: 2005, IDT) contains the relevant functional requirements for gas pressure control installations that are part of the connection pipelines in gas supply systems. This standard is applicable to the design, selection of materials, construction, testing, operation and maintenance of gas pressure control systems that are part of connection pipelines that are used to supply gas to residential buildings, multi-storey buildings, public buildings and commercial and mixed use buildings and for which the maximum working inlet pressure does not exceed 16 bar inclusive, and the design volumetric flow does not exceed 200 m³/h (m3/h under normal conditions).
