Registration Date 19-11-2021 Organization Odessa National Medical University popup.description2 The object of the study - 272 patients who underwent radical surgery in the volume of PDR for malignant foci of the pancreatoduodenal area (218 patients) and CPTP (54 patients), complicated by the development of mechanical jaundice. The aim of the study was to improve the results of surgical treatment of jaundiced patients with focal diseases of the biliopancreaticoduodenal area by improving the differential diagnosis, surgical tactics and methods of correction of mechanical jaundice of benign and malignant origin. Research methods are general clinical, laboratory (blood test, urine test, biochemical tests, blood glucose, total bilirubin and its fractions, the level of aminotransferase activity - ALT and AST, GGT, AP, urea, creatinine, the genetic analysis) and instrumental methods (CT, MRI, ultrasound). The existing algorithms of preoperative preparation of patients for pancreatoduodenal resection have been improved due to the introduction of a new method of detoxification.
