Registration Date 19-11-2021 Organization Odessa National Medical University popup.description2   In order to increase the effectiveness of early diagnosis of optic neuritis as a complication of anterior uveitis, 150 patients with uveitis were examined, 36 of them with uveitis complicated by optic neuritis. Clinical features of the course of neuritis, indicators of the diameter of the optic nerve in the patient and even eye in the retrobulbar, middle departments and at the entrance to the orbit according to CT of the orbit, as well as electrical impedance data in ophthalmic rheography. A positive correlation was found between the development of optic neuritis and the intensity of signs of inflammation (Spearman's r 0.566, p 0.05), as well as with the presence of concomitant inflammatory otolaryngological and odontogenic diseases (х2=5,50, р=0,0191). There was a significant increase in all indicators of eye hemodynamics and optic nerve thickness in its three departments relative to paired healthy eyes in patients with anterior uveitis complicated by optic neuritis. Two clinical cases of acute vascular optic neuropathy after Сovid-19 were analyzed. The expediency of application of the developed method of forecasting and early diagnosis of optic neuritis at anterior uveitis is substantiated.
