The design of the high-voltage pulse capacitor ИКЭ-100-0,17 has been improved in order to increase its reliability. In the section that is the main element of the capacitor, the electrical strength of the working paper-film dielectric is increased by replacing the used capacitor paper with paper with higher electrical strength, with fewer conductive inclusions. In addition, the height of the flange at the bottom of the housing is increased, which leads to an increase in electrical strength on the surface of the insulating housing between the positive and negative currents of the capacitor. According to the revised design of IIPT ten ИКЭ-100-0,17 capacitors are made, their control tests are carried out.
