Cracks appear where the normal tensile stresses in the layer of pavement or pavement exceed the tensile strength of the material of the corresponding layer. Temperature cracks are the primary and main cause of other types of damage. The analysis of causes and types of cracking on cement concrete pavement, technical literature and current regulations on the calculation of crack resistance and durability of cement pavement on the reinforced concrete slab of road bridges, existing methods and criteria for assessing the durability of cement concrete. Laboratory and bench experimental researches of formation of cracks on a cement concrete covering taking into account influence of constructive, technological, operational factors are carried out. Requirements for the design and calculation of pavement with cement-concrete pavement, including the methodology for calculating the assessment of the durability of such pavement, taking into account the joint impact of the girder structure of the bridge, temperature changes and transport. Technological requirements for the installation of cement-concrete pavement on the reinforced concrete slab of the carriageway of bridges have been established.
