The purpose of the work is to determine the optimal geometric parameters of the profiled heat exchange pipes of modified heat exchangers for the intensification of thermophysical processes and increase the efficiency of the equipment. Methods of research - Computer modeling of processes of fuel oil M100 in modified trapezoidal screw profiles of pipes and studies of thermophysical indices of heating of this fuel oil. Investigated profiles height h = 2 mm, 3 mm and 4 mm with a relative step S/D = 0.6, 0.8, 1.0, 1.2 and 1.5. As a result of these model research it has been found that the optimal parameters of the intensifier are h = 2 mm and S/D = 0.8. In this case, the number of pipes decreases from 12 to 3, and the heating efficiency increases by 2 times compared with standard smooth pipes. The introduction of data of heat exchange intensifiers in the energy sector will reduce the long-term dimensions of the fuel oil department of PM-40-15 from 6.7 to 1.6 m, reduce the material content of the design, weight, as well as reduce the power of pumps for pumping fuel oil.
