Registration Date 30-11-2021 Organization Lutsk National Technical University popup.description2  The project develops mathematical models and computational methods for the analysis of solids containing spatial thread-like and thin shell-like inhomogeneities, which are sensitive to the influence of fields of different physical nature (thermal, mechanical, electric, magnetic). It derives models of such inhomogeneities based on the coupling principle for continua of different dimensions, integral equations of corresponding spatial problems for inhomogeneous solids, numerical algorithms for solving these equations based on the modified boundary element method, and develops methods for analyzing the concentration of physical and mechanical fields near inhomogeneities. The project also studies the fracture of materials with inclusions of such types, determination of effective properties of composite and smart materials with plate-like or thread-like filament, as well as the issues of imperfect contact of thin spatial inhomogeneities with the medium.
