It is shown that rats after intraperitoneal administration of pilocarpine (380 mg / kg) develop a complex of behavioral and electrographic disorders characteristic of status epilepticus, which is characterized by the development of spontaneous delayed seizures.The results and their novelty: based on research, new data on the role of cholinergic mechanisms in the occurrence and maintenance of chronic epilepsy of the brain, which deepen the understanding of the neuropathophysiological mechanisms of chronic epileptic activity reproduced under pilocuropyne-sylpine form. The analysis revealed a direct dependence of the frequency of spontaneous seizures in rats on the duration of acute pilocarpins - caused by seizures. It is proved that the initiation of EEG activity in the brain of rats by frontal cortex structures during SSA indicates the need for further study of the mechanisms of involvement of these formations in the mediation of chronic pilocarpine-induced convulsive syndrome, as well as the complexity, ambiguity of interpretation and systemic changes rats in the delayed period of pilocarpine EC. Diazepam, phenobarbital and valproic acid have been shown for the first time to have an antiepileptic effect on pilocarpine-induced spontaneous seizures. Diphenylhydantoin and carbamazepine do not affect the development of delayed spontaneous seizures induced by pilocarpine. It is planned to develop new therapeutic approaches that increase the effectiveness of treatment and prevention of temporal lobe epileptic activity.
