Luk'yanova of National academy of medical sciences of Ukraine" popup.description2  The urgency of this problem is due to the increasing frequency of benign neoplasms first detected during pregnancy, both genital and extragenital localization. One of the most important sections of surgery is surgery during pregnancy. The complexity of these surgical interventions is determined by the need to preserve the pregnancy and perform them at different stages of gestation and especially at a later date. According to the archives of the State Institution “IPAG named after acad. OHM. Lukyanova National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine ”for 10 years a clinical and statistical analysis of medical histories of pregnant women who received perinatal care in obstetric clinics of the institution was conducted. The results of the analysis revealed an increase in the number of pregnant patients with benign tumors in the ovaries, uterus and breast, which require surgery during pregnancy. During the research the study of the peculiarities of pregnancy before and after surgery at different stages of gestation, the analysis of the postoperative period depending on the preoperative preparation, aimed at the peculiarities of pregnancy in each individual case and the choice of anesthesia during surgery. Based on the obtained data, three diagnostic and three treatment algorithms for pregnant women with uterine leiomyoma and benign ovarian and breast neoplasms have been developed, patented and implemented. The introduction of diagnostic algorithms for each nosology allowed to unify diagnostic approaches and develop the patient's route. The development and implementation of treatment algorithms made it possible to unify preoperative and postoperative care; depending on the duration of pregnancy and the size of benign tumors in the ovary, uterus and breast.
