Creation of mathematical models for the study of plastic flow, analysis of mixing of components and determination of mechanical properties of metal compositions; development of installations for simple shear under high pressure in volumetric and sheet samples. Research methods. Mathematical modeling, computed tomography, optical and scanning electron microscopy, EBSD analysis, computer data processing. Results. Models of processes of intensive plastic deformation (IPD) of metals are created, which are designed to study the nature of plastic flow and stress-strain state of materials in these processes. A quantitative indicator for assessing the quality of mechanical mixing of metals in the solid state is proposed, which simultaneously characterizes the rate of abnormally fast mass transfer of materials during intense plastic deformation. It is shown that only the curvature of the layers occurs before the ultimate shear deformation, and mechanical mixing does not occur. The installation of indirect extrusion with active friction for simple shear under high pressure in sheet samples is proposed. Projected use of work results.
