Research object – surface microstructures, changes in the chemical composition, as well as the processes of thermally stimulated release of implanted deuterium from two-phase ceramics Li4SiO4 with different contents of the secondary phase Li2TiO3. Purpose of work - study of the behavior of implanted hydrogen isotope ions in highly disordered structures of irradiated newest ceramics that reproduce tritium. Research methods - metallography, scanning electron microscopy, microanalysis, thermodesorption spectroscopy, analysis of radiation damage. The behavior of implanted hydrogen isotope ions in highly disordered structures of irradiated newest two-phase ceramics Li4SiO4 with different contents of the secondary phase Li2TiO3, which reproduces tritium, has been investigated. Surface microstructures, changes in the elements and chemical composition of pellets, as well as the processes of thermally stimulated release of implanted deuterium have been studied using modern measuring devices. The results obtained will complement each other for a better understanding of the processes of diffusion and release of the hydrogen isotope and their relationship with the formed and accumulated radiation damage. SEM microstructure study indicates that an open network of porosity develops after sintering. It was found that after irradiation and the study of thermal desorption of deuterium, the destruction processes - the formation of kinks, cracks, porosity - intensify. The change in the phase composition of ceramics after irradiation and thermal desorption of deuterium has been studied. The thermodynamic parameters of the capture and desorption of deuterium from the two-phase Li4SiO4 ceramics with different contents of the secondary Li2TiO3 phase have been determined. Key words: Nuclear fusion, tritium breeding, lithium orthosilicate, lithium metatitanate, radiation-induced defects.   Product Description popup.authors Karpov Sergiy Olexandrovych Rostova Hanna Yuriivna Ruzhytskiy Valerij Volodyrovych Tolstolutska Galyna Dmytrivna popup.nrat_date 2021-12-13 Close
