The subject of research is methods for assessing the visual quality of multimedia data, methods for assessing the characteristics of destabilizing factors, methods of processing multimedia data and methods for predicting the effectiveness of these methods. The report proposes a system of complex analysis and image processing based on neural networks. A method for automatic evaluation of the characteristics of complex distortion of multichannel images is described. An analysis of the choice of components was performed and a combined metric based on neural networks was developed, which evaluates the visual quality of images with typical distortions for remote sensing. A method of automatic classification of existing combined distortions involving a neural network is proposed. The method of choosing the parameters of the Lee filter based on the results of predicting the efficiency of filtering based on the neural network is described. A method for selecting the optimal parameters of lossy image compression has been developed, which takes into account the properties of the image, its visual quality and noise characteristics.
