The object of research - technologies for safe long-term storage of metal tritides. The purpose of scientific research is the implementation of a number of laboratory studies that will develop technological methods for safe long-term storage of tritium products. The relevance and importance of the work is that its results can be used in activities related to the safe and long-term storage of tritium metals, as well as improving measures to protect people and the environment when working with tritium and its compounds. The practical significance of the presented research is the possibility of creating airtight volumes for long-term storage of radioactive materials containing tritium with the possibility of periodic monitoring of the composition of the gaseous medium to protect personnel from excessive exposure. Methods for cleaning the gaseous medium of volumes for storage of metal tritides from tritium compounds have been studied. The dynamic characteristics of tritium adsorption by modified palladium 2% Pd / mordenite and 3% Pd / NaX zeolites under long-term use have been studied. The design of the container for safe long-term storage of metal tritides is developed. Research method - theoretical calculations and experimental research. Following the results of the second stage of R&D, 2 articles were published, 3 reports were made at conferences, 1 patent for a utility model was obtained. The results of research can be used - scientists and engineers involved in the development of new technological methods for long-term storage of metal tritides. Predictive assumptions about the development of the object of study - the results of theoretical and experimental studies can be a fundamental basis for the development of technologies for safe long-term storage of radioactive materials containing tritium.
