It was shown that the corrosion resistance of steel and aluminium alloy was increased by the inhibitory effect of gum arabic. Gum arabic as an environmentally friendly inhibitor is able to inhibit corrosion, and can use as a promising component for the creation of compositions with anti-corrosion properties.
