At the same time, numerical estimates of changes in the depth, height of the ledge and the location of the flooded breakwater were obtained. Based on the refractive and spectral SWAN model, as well as the XBeach model, mathematical methods for the analysis of various factors for the interaction of waves with shore protection structures and renewable energy wave converters were developed and improved. Experimental studies of the wave field and vortex pressure near the permeable breakwater and the wave energy converter model have shown that the permeable breakwater reduces the wave height in the breakwater protected area depending on the wave parameters and the structure of the breakwater and the wave energy converter. It is established that models of single-row cylindrical permeable breakwater with solid shields on their front surface, as well as models of double-row permeable breakwaters significantly reduce the height of penetrating waves (up to 70% relative to the initial waves generated by the wave generator).
